Three lessons learned meetings were held at three target Upazilas, namely Debhata, Ashashuni and Kaliganj on 1st August, 2nd August and 3rd August, 2017 respectively. The objective of meeting is to have a discussion and collectively identify lessons learned during the project closure so that future projects may benefit from and usefully apply those insights that were gained on past efforts. Overall 279 persons from various strata participated in those meetings. These lesson learned meetings brought wide range of stakeholders into the fold of this project. They included the elected representatives, government officials, including administration and law enforcement agencies, students, teachers, guardian of the students, civil society representatives, business and faith leaders, women activists, local leaders and media personnel in all three targeted Upazilas. Active participation and valuable suggestions coming out from the distinguished participants made the lesson learned meetings lively, participatory and useful. They deemed the project as a good initiative to empower the students, teacher and journalist. They admired the cost effective model of the project regarding capacity building and expanding the network among various institution as well as the cross sections people.
